Networking

Whether you are a CEO of a large corporation or a small business owner just starting out, the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes your need to network with other business men and women in the community.  Membership with our organization allows you many opportunities to do so, both in formal and informal settings.  By joining the MACC, you are sure to meet people with similar interests and career paths.

These are just a few of the networking opportunities we provide to our members on a regular basis.

Business After Hours

Held monthly from 4:30 – 6:00pm at a member business location, Business After Hours is a great way for members to meet and network with fellow business people of the Macomb area community. There are always prize drawings and winnings….a wonderful mix of business and pleasure at the end of a work day.

If you are an area member business and are interested in hosting a Business After Hours, call our office at 837-4855 to submit your name.

Business Before Hours

We know not everyone’s schedule allows them to attend Business After Hours, so we now offer Business Before Hours! Held on the 4th Wednesday, quarterly, from 8-9 a.m. at a member business location, Business Before Hours is a great way for members to meet and network with fellow business people of the Macomb area community.

If you are an area member business and are interested in hosting a Business Before Hours, call our office at 837-4855 to submit your name.

Luncheons

The Chamber hosts multiple luncheons throughout the year, including the Economic Outlook Luncheon and Legislative Luncheon.  This not only provides professional development to our members, but also another opportunity to network with other attendees with similar interests.

This certification class is a 10-week course designed to foster leadership as well as bring forth and implement new ideas and technology.  Alongside this, through team building exercises and personal reflection, the group develops relationships amongst themselves.  We intentionally limit the number of participants in order to encourage networking and relationship building.  Participants are encouraged to meet new people as well as stay in contact with the group as they will be the future leaders of the community.

Young Professionals of Macomb (YPM) is a collaborative, energetic group dedicated to personal and professional development for all young adults connected to the Macomb Area. YPM provides the opportunity to develop leadership skills, connect with other young professionals, and learn about the people and places that make our community a great place to live, work, and play.
